THE SHORT VERSION
- Nothing illegal, harmful or abusive.
- Keep your logins safe, and tell me quickly if something looks wrong.
- Serious problems can mean a service is suspended.
Who this applies to
This policy applies to everyone who uses my website hosting, website care or domain name services, and to anyone using this website. It forms part of my Terms of service.
What’s not allowed
You can’t use my services to host, send, link to or register:
- anything illegal in Australia or where you operate, or that helps someone else break the law;
- content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trade marks or other rights;
- malware, phishing pages, or anything designed to harm devices or steal information;
- spam, including unsolicited bulk email or messages that breach the Spam Act 2003;
- harassment, threats, or content that promotes violence or hatred;
- any material that sexually exploits children;
- attacks on other systems, including scanning, flooding or trying to get in without permission;
- cryptocurrency mining, open proxies, or file storage unrelated to your website;
- domain names registered to impersonate a person or business, or to take advantage of their name.
Keeping things secure
- Use strong passwords, keep them private, and don’t share accounts.
- If you add your own plugins or themes, keep them up to date.
- Tell me straight away if you think your site or account has been compromised.
If something breaches this policy
I may remove the content, suspend the affected service, or end it. I’ll usually contact you first, unless the problem is serious or urgent, such as malware or an attack on other systems. Unlawful activity may be reported to the relevant authorities.
Reporting abuse
If you see something on a site I host that breaches this policy, email hello@jenkins.digital with the web address and what you found.
